Open Access Policies
In support of Open Science, funding agencies have new policies or new policies in progress that will have an impact on Data Management and Sharing related to research data both during the conduct of research and the sharing of the results and scientific data. Additionally, the use of persistent identifiers in data, proposals and other documents such as biographical sketches is quickly becoming policy for many agencies. The WVU Research Office in partnership with the WVU Libraries is monitoring changes to existing policies and new requirements. Recent Announcements
Preparing to submit a proposal?
The Research Office coordinates with partner departments including the Library, WV
CTSI, ITS, Information Security and Department IT staff to provide guidance related
to the cost of technology and creating Data Management and Sharing plans.
