As the dedicated IT staff for the Research Office, Sam Kisko’s primary responsibility is to support the Research Office in its IT needs. This includes hands-on support of computer, software, and IT systems support for the Research Office. Sam is also the Building Manager for the Chestnut Ridge Research Building and supports the facilities, safety management, and building space therein. Please reach out to Sam for any IT, Building, or general questions or issues, and he can assist you or point you in the right direction.
Sam is a highly versatile IT professional who can do nearly anything IT-related with a healthy mix of curiosity, enthusiasm, and commitment. His experience includes software development, system administration, software engineering, advanced troubleshooting, web design, graphic art, enterprise networking, reporting, systems analysis, and many other IT-related duties in a large enterprise environment.
He is experienced in medical, non-profit, educational, working with people with disabilities, research, and high-security enterprise environments. Sam is known as a self-starter and results-oriented employee who is tenacious, autonomous, and accountable. He utilizes his 20+ years of experience and skills in a wide scope of IT fields to ensure the customer-oriented success of his workplace.
Specialties: Advanced troubleshooting of IT systems, systems administration, software life-cycle design and implementation, business analysis, and building management. Also, believe it or not...raising chickens.
