WVU Provides Updates on Research Connect Program

Benjamin Evans |

The Research Office has developed a timeline as it continues to roll out the Research Connect Program, the initiative that will provide WVU with R1-level research administration systems and processes to support the University’s goals for growth in research.

The timeline can be viewed here.

The Research Connect Program officially launched with a discovery phase led by Huron in September 2023. This phase was completed in December 2023. During discovery, the Research Office focused on high-level requirements, verification of integrations, data migration and module overviews.

Further, the Research Office has launched the Grants & Agreements Project implementation. The first phase of the project is onboarding, which will provide the core project team with hands-on, in-depth training on the Huron Research Suite solution’s functionality and configuration capabilities. During these sessions, the Research Office will document feedback and identify gaps between current business processes and the Huron Research Suite solution.
